Marine & Agro Export Processing Ltd., the largest processor and exporter of freshwater fish in Uganda, was established in 1992, and began production with the capacity to produce five tons of fish per day. This has grown to 80 tons per day. Marine & Agro is well known in the world market for its wide range of high quality Nile Perch and Tilapia products.
In 1996 the company began exporting to the European market.
Marine & Agro consistently works to improve its processing facilities and conditions, and develop new products.
